£24,000 – £26,000 per annum

Joining a well-established organisation working within their construction division, the successful candidate will take on a range of accounting and project administration duties. You will will be responsible for duties such as:
- Preparation and maintenance of project cost spreadsheets – monitoring and tracking the finances of each project
- Preparation of invoices for each project as they become due
- Updating spreadsheets with addition project costs
- Attending project progress meetings, preparing meeting minutes
- Provide detailed project expenditure and invoices, along with submission to clients
- Liaise with accounts departments, answering bookkeeping queries
- Uploading sales invoices to the central accounting systems on a monthly basis
- Downloading accrued accounts payable and overdue invoices and following up with customers
- Periodic reconciliation of all project expenses, invoices and payments – presenting reports on variations
- Preparation and submission of project forms / funding forms to appropriate authorities / clients
- Responding to day to day general enquiries
- Distrbution of written correspondence to clients and coworkers as needed
- Assisting with Board meetings, preparation of agendas, minutes and minutes for further action
Any previous project experience would be beneficial. You must have strong bookkeeping skills and be confident taking on a mix of bookkeeping and administration. The company can consider circa 25 hours a week and upwards, ideally you can be available at short notice.
