Accounts Assistant / Office Administrator

£22,000 – £24,000 per annum

Hedge End, Southampton, Hampshire

A fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, well-established company working within a small team. You will be responsible for a variety of accounts and administration duties such as:

  • Booking jobs on to databases, inputting relevant information
  • General office administration such as filing, updating databases
  • Answering the office phone and answering client queries
  • Assisting with scheduling work, checking employees scheduling and assigning roles based on availability
  • General day to day entry of invoices on to Sage accounting system
  • Matching and coding invoices
  • Assisting Finance Manager with reconciliations, VAT returns etc

Any previous experience working within Accounts on Sage software would be highly beneficial, but not essential as training can be given. You will need strong Microsoft office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc. This would suit someone who is looking for a varied role and has a keen interest in accountancy.
