Our client, a well-established firm of accountants, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accounts for a variety of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships. You will also be required to prepare Corporation Tax computations, monthly and quarterly management accounts.
Key Duties:
- Accounts preparation for varied client portfolio
- Prepare Corporation Tax computations
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for clients
- VAT returns
- Answer client queries, meeting with clients to finalise accounts as needed
- Liaise with the Tax Department on Directors and Proprietors personal tax matters
- Assist and train junior members of the team
Own transport is preferred due to remote location. The firm are happy to consider those looking to work circa 25 hours per week and upwards. They offer 1-2 days’ a week working remotely if preferred. You will need previous experience working within a firm of Accountants, and ideally have studied AAT / ACCA / ACA or similar.
