Our client is a friendly, well-established business in the Micheldever area, who are looking for someone to become their Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Sales ledger duties including cash, sales receipts from cards / other payments into bank accounts / Direct Debits and annual payments.
- Entering approved supplier invoices on to sage weekly and planning payments
- Bank and credit card reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis
- Payroll reports
- Monthly management accounts
- Assisting with year end journals
- VAT returns
You will have strong accounting knowledge and ideally have experience working within a sole responsibility accounts position within a small company. The company are ideally looking for someone to work full-time, however could consider those looking for circa 3-4 days a week and upwards.
