Joining a friendly firm of Accountants in the Cosham area. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing an accurate end to end payroll service, with of duties such as:
- Running your own portfolio of payroll clients
- Running payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly & annually
- Setting up new clients on the system
- Responding to clients on any pay related queries
- Auto enrolment administration and processing
- Keeping up to date with payroll legislation
- Submission of the relevant forms online to HMRC
- A range of bookkeeping duties, VAT returns, bank reconciliations
- Software used includes Sage and Xero
Any previous experience working within a firm of Accountants would be highly beneficial but not essential. You will need strong previous payroll experience running an end to end payroll. Previous experience undertaking bookkeeping duties would be beneficial. The firm are ideally looking for someone to work circa 16 hours per week, but can be flexible regarding how these are spread.
