A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, exciting business on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting duties specialising in implement new policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the overall accounting function. Duties will include:
- Overseeing sales and purchase ledger functions
- Performing complex reconciliations
- Implementing processes to streamline the accountancy function.
- Overhaul of current credit control procedures to account for increased complexity in subscription revenues
- Overseeing junior member of staff, answering queries
- Monthly management accounts for directors including accruals, prepayments, cashflow forecasts
- Assisting with the implementation of new CRM software and it’s intergration with Xero
The company are looking for someone to work circa 25 hours a week in the office, but can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread. Previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial, as well as a knowledge and interest on streamlining policies and procedures. Previous experience working on Xero would be helpful.
