Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper

£24,000 – £28,000 per annum

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper to assist the Financial Controller with a range of Finance Office duties. Tasks will include working on the sales and purchase ledgers – raising of sales invoices and e-mailing them to customers, posting to the purchase ledger, gaining authorisation for payment and organising supplier payment runs. Posting and reconciling of monies received and informing management if accounts are overdue, producing customer statements and so on. There will also be some general office administration tasks such as answering the telephone, covering on reception, diary management and helping to compile stock lists. The accounts are run on Sage software, so previous experience of this will give you an advantage, but is by no means essential.

The role can be offered on a full or a part-time basis, and the company can work around school hours.
