A fantastic opportunity to join a friendly firm of Accountants undertaking a wide range of duties. Responsibilities to include:
- Client bookkeeping for a varied portfolio using Xero software
- Accounts preparation for a variety of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assisting with tax returns / tax planning and offering advice to clients
- VAT returns
- Management accounts
- Assisting junior members of staff
- Answering client queries
The firm are ideally looking for someone to work part-time circa 16-25 hours, and can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread to suit the right candidate. They are happy for some hybrid working but you will primarily be based in the office. Ideally you will have studied AAT / ACCA or similar and have strong Xero experience.
