Part-time Bookkeeper

£14.00 – £17.00 per hour

Our client is looking to appoint a part-time Bookkeeper to undertake a wide range of duties. The role will be varied and duties will include looking after the sales and purchase ledger activities; raising of sales invoices, gaining authorisation for purchase ledger/making supplier payments, along with banking and bank reconciliation duties. The successful candidate will also undertake some credit control work, keep a record of and and make payments for staff expenses, and keep a log of staff holidays and sickness etc., along with some general office administration duties.

The accounts are run on Sage Line 50 software, and whilst previous experience of this package is not essential, those candidates who are confident users of this software will have an advantage.

The company envisages that they will need somebody to work between 16 and 22 hours per week, and these hours can be split to suit. We understand that school hours can be accommodated.
