A fantastic opportunity to join a local, well-established business in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of credit control including
- Contacting customers to ensure effective collection of overdue accounts
- Bringing down numbers of aged debtors
- Allocation of customer payments
- Knowledge of retentions in construction industry contracts
- Handling queries and passing over to relevant team members
- Reviewing credit limits
- Cashflow forecasting
- Some elements of purchasing, getting involved in other parts of accounts, etc.
The company are ideally looking for someone to work circa 8-16 hours per week and can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread. Any previous experience using Xero and Excel would be beneficial, and strong previous credit control experience is needed.
