Our client is a friendly, growing company in the Portsmouth area, seeking a new Accounts Assistant to join their team. Working directly with the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Purchase ledger including invoicing against projects, maintaining the ledger and chasing receipts, raising purchase orders, setting up payments
- Sales ledger – raising invoices / credits, customer correspondence, credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing expenses and paying
- CIS returns – though training can be provided on these
- General office duties as needed such as answering client queries, etc
The company uses Xero software so any previous experience of this would be highly beneficial. Ideally the company are looking for someone to work circa 20-25 hours per week.
