Full or Part-time Payroll Clerk / Bookkeeper

£28,000 – £32,000 per annum

Our client is an established firm of Accountants, seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk / Bookkeeper to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

  • Undertaking end to end payroll duties for a varied portfolio of clients on a weekly, monthly and fortnightly basis
  • Liasing with HMRC and making submissions to HMRC via rti
  • Calculation of holiday pay, SMP / SPP / SSP, statutory deductions etc
  • Pensions administration
  • General bookkeeping
  • Assisting with management accounts

The company are happy to consider those candidates lookng between 24-37.5 hours per week, and can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread. You will need strong payroll experience, and it would be highly beneficial to have worked within a payroll bureau / firm of accountants previously, but not essential.
