Full or Part-time Payroll Clerk

£27,000 – £34,000 per annum

Our client is an established, friendly firm of Accountants looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to join their team. You will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • Processing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
  • Keeping accurate pension records and undertaking pension administration
  • Submission of HMRC returns via RTI
  • Processing holiday pay, sick pay, maternity / paternity, etc
  • Statutory deductions
  • Running payroll reports
  • Assisting junior members of staff as needed

The firm can consider those looking for circa 25 hours per week and upwards, and are flexible regarding how these hours are spread. Any previous experience working within a firm of Accountants would be beneficial but not essential, however you will need strong previous payroll experience.
