£26,000 – £30,000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established firm of Solicitors in central Winchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Dealing with daily office / client financial transactions such as payments, receipts and account reconciliations
- Monitoring office and client bank accounts for incoming / outgoing payments
- Assisting with internal and external accounts queries
- Ensuring compliance to the Solicitors Accounts Rules, money laundering regulations, VAT regulations, etc
- Maintaining accurate financial records to assist with annual audits
- Assisting the Finance Director with month end / year end financial closing processes
- Checking and approving property completion statements
Any previous experience working within the legal accounts sector would be highly beneficial, but by no means essential as training can be given. You will need strong general accounting experience and be able to work full-time in the office within a friendly team.
