A fantastic opportunity for those looking for a part-time role, you will be assisting with the smooth running of a small accounts department within a well-established company. You will mainly take responsibility for the sales ledger function, and be responsible for the following duties:
- Responsibility for the companys cash collection – ensuring all received daily receipts are allocated promptly / accurately
- Processing all sales invoices covering 3 currencies (Sterling, Euro, Dollars) ensuring their accuracy and that they are distributed t the customer in a timely manner
- Emailing / posting customer’s weekly sales invoices and monthly statements
- Ensuring customers’ credit levels are up to date and appropriate
- Identifying and resolving any anomalies that are present on the debtors report
- Cash reconciliations
- Handling disputed accounts and ensuring a resolution is found in line with trading terms
- Accessing credit reference portal checks for new and existing customers
- Credit control communication with customers to ensure accounts are settled, escalating where needed and collating appropriate documentation for any legal action if needed
- Assisting with answering incoming general callls and answering queries
This company is ideally looking for someone to work circa 25 hours per week, ideally over the 5 days. You will need previous accounts experience and ideally have some knowledge or experience over overseas transactions. There is free onsite parking for this role.
