An excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working for charitable organisations, we are working on the behalf of a small local charity who are seeking to appoint a new finance office. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing accounting procedures and processes for future income and expenses, recording all financial data accurately and reporting the charity finances to the CEO / Board. You will support with the development of service KPI’s, underake timely delivery of tax responsibilities such as VAT / Gift Aid, etc, and undertake accounts reconciliations.
The charity are looking for someone to work circa 8 hours a day, ideally spread over two 4 hour days. Any experience working within a charitable organisation would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The organisation uses Quickbooks, so previous experience of this could be a benefit.
