A fantastic opportunity for a strong Bookkeeper to join a well-established, friendly firm of Accountants. The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Management a divert client bookkeeping portfolio
- Providing double-entry bookkeeping services including entering data, reconciliations, expenses
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns on behalf of clients
- Setting up new clients on bookkeeping systems
- Registering VAT schemes with HMRC
- Answering client queries
- Use of Xero, Sage software and occasional Quickbooks
The role can be full or part-time, with part-time hours to suit the right candidate, e.g. 3 full days or 4-5 short days, etc. Any previous experience working within a firm of Accountants would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
