Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Accounts Administrator

£13.50 – £14.00 per hour

Portsmouth, Hampshire

Working as part of a small team, your role will be varied and will include helping out with sales and purchase ledger duties; raising sales invoices and helping prepare timely supplier payments. There will also be some banking and reconciliation duties, and assisting with the running of the monthly payroll. The candidate will also be required to assist with general office administration duties, and possibly assist with some basic HR administration duties.

Candidates applying must have previous accounts experience, but the company can train in areas that you may not have touched on. The company uses Sage accountancy software and whilst previous experience of working on Sage will be an advantage, again it is not essential.

It is envisaged that the company will requite somebody for around 2 days per week (this could rise to 3 days), with some flexibility over which 2 days can be worked.
