Accounts / Office Manager

£30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Southsea, Hampshire

A great opportunity for those looking for a varied role, with a mixture of Accounts and general administration. The successful candidate will work within a smaller team and take on accounting duties such as:

  • Day to day accounting duties including processing invoices as needed
  • Overseeing work undertaken by Accounts / Administration Assistants
  • Banking and bank reconcilication
  • VAT returns
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Liaising with external accountants to assist in preparation for year end

For Office Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with general administration, filing, photocopying etc
  • Overseeing company utility contracts
  • Stationery ordering and stock levels
  • Answering queries from junior members of staff
  • Liaising with Directors
  • Answering client / customer queries as needed
  • Health & safety
  • General HR duties

This would suit a candidate who enjoys organising and undertaking a variety of duties, has good people skills as well as strong accounting knowledge.
