Part-time Accounts Manager

£16.00 – £20.00 per hour

Emsworth, Hampshire

A fantastic opportunity to work in a sole-responsibility accounts role for a small, friendly company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounts and office duties including:

  • Sales ledger – raising sales invoices, credit notes, some credit control
  • Purchase ledger – check and pay all invoices
  • Banking and ank reconciliations
  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
  • Year end file submission to Auditors, answering any follow up queries
  • VAT returns
  • Yearly budgeting
  • Project accounting forecast analysis
  • Payroll for circa 25 employees, processing starters / leavers, HMRC submission, payroll year end, all associated pension administration
  • General office duties such as sorting insurance policies, leases, office suppliers

This is a part-time role circa 15-20 hours a week, the company can be flexible regarding how these hours are spread, and there is some possibility of hybrid working for the right candidate after they have settled in. Ideally, you will have experience in a sole responsibility accounts role and be used to working under your own initiative.
