Joining a successful company within the construction industry, this is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for an all-round Accounts Manager position. You will be responsible for a varied range of duties including
- Credit control and retention monitoring to ensure all funds are received, issuing stat demands, etc
- Creating new jobs within Sage, raising paperwork to invoice for different jobs, including closure sheets
- Setting up valuation spreadsheets and submitting valuations as needed
- Running a weekly and monthly payroll for circa 30 staff
- All pension administration
- Monthly CIS returns
- VAT returns on a quarterly basis
- Banking and bank reconciliations
- Month end including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, WIP
- Payment runs
- Petty cash
- Customer and supplier statements
- Collating information and preparing year-end reports to send to the accountant
This company is ideally looking for someone to work on a full-time basis. You will need a good working knowledge of Sage accounts software, and ideally have some previous experience / knowledge of accounts within the construction industry.
