A fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly firm of accountants based in Southampton. As an Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring their accounts are completed accurately and on time. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide them with advice and guidance on accounting matters. Your main duties will include:
- Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Completing tax returns and VAT returns
- Advising clients on accounting and taxation issues
- Managing client relationships and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting other members of staff, answering queries
Ideally you will be qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA, with previous experience working within a small or medium sized firm. You will be passionate about creating strong business relationships with clients, and confident at communicating with them about a range of duties.
This firm offers hybrid working, allowing around 3-4 days a week working from home.
