Working within a friendly local firm of Accountants due to ongoing growth within their outsourcing department. The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team to undertake duties such as
- Client bookkeeping including sales and purchase ledger duties
- Bank reconciliations
- Wage reconciliations and journals
- VAT returns
- Closing balance journals
- Preparation of trial balance for accounts
- Assisting with coaching and support for junior members of the team / trainees
- Working on-site at client’s premises to provide bookkeeping duties / assistance
You will ideally have strong Xero software experience, and you must have a strong background in undertaking bookkeeping. Any previous experience working within a firm of Accountants would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
