A fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly company in Gosport. Working on a part-time basis, the successful candidate will take on a range of bookkeeping and accounts duties including:
- Sales ledger
- Purchase ledger
- Banking and bank reconciliation including inter-company banking
- Management accounts including accruals and prepayments
- Processing / paying monthly payroll as well as associated pension administration
- VAT returns
- Some light credit control including reviewing customer credit limits, credit checks
- Assisting external accountants with year end, providing any relevant information etc
- Use of Sage 50 Accounts software
The company are really flexible regarding hours, and can consider those looking between 20-30 hours per week, with those looking at higher end doing a little bit more general accounts administration / credit control. They can be flexible regarding how hours are split. Previous experience using Sage Accounts software is essential for this role.
