Accounts Assistant

£21,000 – £23,000 per annum

Portsmouth, Hampshire

A fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly business working within their accounts department. You will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with clients
  • Preparing client statements, attaching invoices and emailing / posting to clients
  • Raising BACS payments
  • Processing invoices and saving to relevant files
  • Processing debit card payments
  • Dealing with invoice queries via phone and email
  • Posting direct debit payments
  • Processing incoming bank receipts
  • Bank reconciliations

Ideally you will have previous experience working within accounts / will have studied accountancy. The company are happy to provide training on aspects of the role. Previous use of MS Excel would be beneficial.
