£35,000 – £40,000 per annum

Our client is a well-established company looking for an Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for day to day duties as well as assisting with the improvement of policies and procedures. Duties to include:
- Processing sales and purchase ledgers
- Undertaking credit control
- Banking and bank reconciliations
- Monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments
- Monitoring cashflow
- VAT returns
- Assisting with preparation of accounts for year end
- Ongoing improvement of accountancy procedures, offering discussing recommended changings to the Management Team
Previous experience working within a similar role would be highly beneficial.
