Our client is a well-established, friendly firm of Accountants who are seeking a new Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Sales and purchase ledger operations for a varied portfolio of clients in a diverse range of industries
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns and CIS returns
- Managing supplier payments
- Undertaking bookkeeping and accounts from incomplete records and posting journals
- Reconciling control accounts
- Preparing management accounts
Ideally, you will have previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau, however the firm can consider strong double-entry Bookkeepers with strong experience. Previous experience of Sage and/or Xero would be highly beneficial.
While the firm were ideally looking for part-time, they are focused on getting the right person for the role, so happy to consider part-time hours or a mix of 2 part-timers, with hours to suit the successful candidate.
