£40,000 – £43,000 per annum

We’re currently working on the behalf of a friendly, well-established company in the construction sector, seeking a new Management Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties such as:
• Accrual, Prepayment, Depreciation and Payroll month-end journals
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Budget setting and Forecasting
• Variance Analysis
• Job Cost reporting
• Accounts and KPI commentary for Shareholders and Senior Management Team
• Annual Budget setting
• Coordination of year end stock take and Audit
• Coordination of the company’s day-to-day financial transactions
• Line management of the Accounts Manager and Accounts Assistant
• Deputising for direct reportees to cover all aspect of P/L, S/L, VAT Returns and Payroll
You will need strong experience in Management Accounts. Previous experience working within construction / CIS / reverse VAT knowledge would be beneficial but not essential. Experience working with an ERP system and / or strong Excel skills would also be useful.
The company were ideally looking at full-time, but would also be happy to consider less hours for the right candidate (circa 28/30).
