We’re working with a growing business who are seeking a new Accounts Assistant to join their Portsmouth office. Working within a team of accountancy professionals, you will be responsible for duties including:
- Inputting invoices on to Xero software
- Updating sales and purchase ledgers
- Banking
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with complex reconciliation work
- Helping junior members of staff, reviewing work as needed
Previous experience using Xero would be highly beneficial, but not essential. You will need strong accountancy experience and be comfortable processing a high level of transactions.
