Our client is a well-established firm of Accountants seeking a new Trainee Accountant to join their friendly team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to undertaking and be trained on a variety of duties including:
- Client bookkeeping and VAT returns
- Payroll
- Accounts preparation for a varied portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Corporation tax preparation and advice
- Assisting with general enquiries, building client relationships, etc
The firm are looking to support study for the ACCA, so this role is an excellent opportunity for those looking to study. They can consider a variety of experience, e.g. college leaver or graduate who has studied accounting or someone who is looking for a career change. Candidates should be able to demonstrate a meaningful interest in becoming an Accountant, with ideally some previous study or experience within accounts.
